StoryRank Privacy Policy

StoryRank is an internal analytics and publishing operations dashboard for authorized business users. This Privacy Policy explains what information StoryRank collects, how it is used, and how to request deletion.
Information we collect
- Account information for authorized StoryRank users, such as email address, role, password hash, session state, and account status.
- Connection information needed to operate authorized integrations, including server-side access tokens, configuration values, account identifiers, Page identifiers, and related permission evidence.
- Meta Page and content information that authorized users connect or make available to StoryRank, including Page names and IDs, Page group membership, post/Reel/video/FB Story identifiers, publish times, captions or message text, URLs, attachment metadata, media metadata, privacy or visibility fields returned by the platform, and raw API response evidence when needed for audit or debugging.
- Performance and reporting data from connected platforms, including content metrics, Page-level metrics, audience counts, monetization metrics when authorized, list counts, snapshot history, sync status, scheduler state, and operational alerts.
- Publishing operations data, such as RSS source settings, posting automation settings, captions, rendered preview metadata, publish attempts, target Page selections, posting assets, and error messages.
- Technical and security logs, which may include request timestamps, IP addresses, browser information, URLs requested, application errors, and authentication or sync diagnostics.
How we use information
- To authenticate authorized users and protect StoryRank accounts.
- To collect, normalize, display, compare, and export connected content and audience performance data.
- To operate sync, scheduling, backfill, posting, alerting, and administrative workflows requested by authorized users.
- To debug platform API issues, preserve operational evidence, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
- To comply with applicable platform rules, legal obligations, and security requirements.
Cookies and local storage
StoryRank uses authentication cookies to keep authorized users signed in. StoryRank may also cache static application assets for performance. It is not designed to cache dashboard data for offline use.
How we share information
StoryRank does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, security, analytics, or support providers that help operate the service. StoryRank may exchange data with connected platforms, including Meta, only as needed to provide authorized functionality, comply with platform requirements, or respond to valid legal or security requests.
Retention
StoryRank keeps account, integration, reporting, audit, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, support authorized business reporting, troubleshoot issues, satisfy security obligations, and maintain backups. Backup and log copies may remain for a limited period after active deletion.
Your choices and deletion requests
Authorized users may request account or integration data deletion by following the instructions at /data-deletion or by emailing storyrank@brightkeep.com. StoryRank may need to verify the requester has authority over the account, Page, or organization before deleting business or platform-connected data.
Children
StoryRank is intended for business use by authorized users and is not directed to children.
Changes
StoryRank may update this Privacy Policy as the service, integrations, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
